Symptoms Of Mouth Ulcers That Happen To Adult People And Babies

Symptoms of mouth ulcers in adult people and babies are almost the same. Obviously the symptoms are bothering. We cannot enjoy our activities well, especially when we have to eat meals. The symptoms happen to babies will make the babies cry all the time. The parents sometimes don’t know how to ease their babies. And do you know the symptoms happen to us and our babies? Pay attention to the explanation below

The symptoms of mouth ulcers in adult people:

o    Having abnormal red color inside our mouth

o    The appearance of one or more white and red round ulcers on inside cheeks or gums, or inside lower lip.

o    Feeling exhausted.

o    Having sore throat.

o    Losing appetite.

o    Having difficulty swallowing food.

o    Etc.

It is necessary for us to consult our doctor when we finally have mouth ulcers and they last more than three weeks, the mouth ulcers keep appearing, and the mouth ulcers become more painful, etc. Obviously we need antibiotics from our doctor. And also You can use a natural home remedies for mouth ulcers to cure this illness safely using natural ingredients.

And We need to know the symptoms of mouth ulcers in babies in order to treat them well whenever they get mouth ulcers. Take a look at the symptoms of mouth ulcers below

The symptoms of mouth ulcers in babies:

∙         Having fever.

∙         Having abnormal red color in their mouth.

∙         Having ulcers on inside cheeks, gums, soft palate, and inside lower lip.

∙         Having difficulty eating and drinking.

∙         Losing appetite.

∙         Sweating a lot.

∙         Etc.

More serious mouth ulcer symptoms in babies:

∙         Losing weight

∙         Having a painful stomach

∙         Having ulcers on his or her rectum

∙         Weakness

∙         Stiffness in neck

∙         Mucus and blood are in their drops.

It is suggested that you take the baby to your pediatrician if the baby has those dangerous symptoms. Probably the baby suffers from inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease. How can we treat our babies having symptoms of mouth ulcers?

What to do to treat babies with mouth ulcer symptoms:

  1. Apply anesthetic mouth gel special for babies onto their mouth both lips and inside mouth.
  2. Make your baby drink a lot of water.
  3. If your baby still needs mother’s milk, breastfeed it as usual. The mother shouldn’t eat spicy and acidic foods and drinks. It is necessary to do to prevent dehydration.
  4. If your baby has infection in the mouth as well, you will need to see your pediatrician to have specific medicines.
  5. If the symptoms are too long, see your pediatrician and prepare the baby from having mouth ulcers.

o    Call your pediatrician right away if the baby looks very ill, has dry mouth, not urinate more than 8 hours.

o    Go to your pediatrician within a day if your baby has more than 3 ulcers, bloody injury on its lips, swollen cheeks.

o    Go to your pediatrician in his or her weekday working hours if your baby’s ulcer stays longer.

Do you have first aid kit at home? You should have in case of emergency. Take a look at the medicines to give to your young kids or babies below in emergency. Have these medicines in your first aid kit.

Medicines for small children and babies in emergency:

∙         Use liquid antacid as pain killer

∙         Use Tylenol or ibuprofen for worse mouth ulcers

∙         Make your small children or babies drink a lot of water.
